PEOPLE Knowhow is an Australian organisation of adult educators committed to the principle that everyone has the ability to be happy, to experience fulfilment, to be successful and to express the potential they have to be responsible, creative and compassionate human beings. Acknowledged and respected by members of the medical and welfare professions, psychologists, teachers, corporate trainers and human resource managers, PEOPLE Knowhow is a professional organisation with a commitment to integrity and excellence in the field of adult education and practical, transformative learning. PEOPLE Knowhow offers a programme of ongoing learning which is designed to meet the personal and professional needs of people from all walks of life. People who do our courses do not simply learn techniques. They undertake a fundamental and profoundly life-changing development of their physical and mental capabilities, engaging fully in an expanded vision of what is possible in their lives. Integral Learning is experiential, communicated through small group sharing, short lectures, group games, exercises and bodywork. It includes the whole person - body, mind, heart and spirit - and all aspects of a person's life - personal, social and professional. Drawing on the perspectives of two cultures - East and West - the integrated programme presents a coherent model of human development and provides powerful and effective methods of transformation. PEOPLE Knowhow teachers combine practical experience and formal study in a range of disciplines - health and nutrition, psychotherapy, somatic, social ecology, applied science and adult education. Many have experience in specialised areas such as martial arts, law, social work and counselling. All are dedicated students as well as masterful teachers, having undertaken a minimum 5 year training with PEOPLE Knowhow as well as continuing supervision and ongoing skills training.
